jamz was born in Kent, The Garden of England, in 1974 and has lived there (almost) ever since, now with a wife and three sons. He earns a living running a network at a secondary (high) school; he has been troubleshooting PCs for over 20 years even though he detests technology and prefers to use a proper ink pen, with ink in a bottle. Unlike some other members of DES he has no artistic or musical skills whatsoever.
jamz discovered AC in the summer of 2008, playing on the LAN at work, but only decided to go online in December. It’s the only game he has ever played online. He wishes he’d picked a different nick, as it’s always getting confused with something you spread on bread – it’s a long ‘a’, as in gamz!
